The Disbelief About Exercising

Contrary to belief, exercising does indeed help ease the chronic pain and stiffness you battle. It increases strength and flexibility, reduces joint pain, and helps combat fatigue. Of course, when stiff and painful joints are already bogging you down, the thought of walking around the block or swimming a few laps might seem overwhelming and non possible.

However the key to exercise is NOT over do it and don't have or engage in a rigorous work out plan.  Remember you have to take it easy with your body.  Light exercising, warm water excising, and yoga can be beneficial to you.

In the  morning you feel stiff, and achy. Don't immediately jump out of bed. Lay there and allow your body to catch up with your brain. Do some light stretching in bed, which is warming up your joints and muscles.  Gently lift yourself out of bed and do some additional light stretching. This will help to ease the stiffness, and aching you are feeling.

Remember your goal to exercising is to not a strenuous work out. Your primary focus is to help ease the discomfort and pain. So take it easy, do simple things.  Trust me it does help.  Moving your joints and muscles helps to reduce the pain you feel daily, so YES exercising is extremely important.
